Join us for a film screening of Warrior Women, a documentary about the organizers of the American Indian Movement (AIM) that was active in the 1970s. It tells the story of Madonna Thunder Hawk and her daughter Marcy about the “We Will Remember” survival school as an alternative to state-supported education. The film reveals the fraught tension of Indigenous cultural values and survival against the backdrop of federal regulations and environmental issues such as the Dakota Access Pipeline. Come join us!
