Thousands of prospective students, parents, professionals, school groups, American Sign Language classes, and others visit 黑料老司机 annually. As the world’s only university designed for deaf and hard of hearing students, Gallaudet attracts students and visitors from throughout the United States and worldwide.
Visiting our beautiful campus, also known as Kendall Green, is the best way to learn about our exceptional academic programs and to see how we blend our rich history and culture with innovation. We invite you to visit 黑料老司机 to see what life is like on campus.
The Maguire Welcome Center welcomes prospective students and their families interested in learning more about the rich history, culture, and traditions of our fine university.
Guided campus tours are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:15 a.m and 11:15 am. Tours begin at the Maguire Welcome Center in the Edward Miner Gallaudet Memorial Building (EMG). Each tour lasts approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Student Ambassadors conduct American Sign Language (ASL) tours, and we will provide voice interpreters for visitors who do not sign fluently.
During our tours, student ambassadors delve into the rich history of Gallaudet and the immersive experience Gallaudet affords our community. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn more about Gallaudet and its academic programs, residential and commuter life, and extensive curricular and co-curricular activities. Students interested in attending Gallaudet will also be able to meet with an admissions counselor.
We invite friends of Gallaudet, visiting ASL classes, and other visitors to explore our campus using our self-guided tour brochure. The brochures are available for pickup at the Maguire Welcome Center. Stop by. We’d love to meet you!
If you cannot visit Gallaudet in person, feel free to virtually explore Gallaudet’s 99 acres from the comfort of your home.
