Overview

Gallaudet鈥檚 World Languages and Cultures program provides opportunities for study abroad and international internships:

  • Guam
  • Guatemala (2 years of Spanish, minimum)
  • Quito, Ecuador (2 years of Spanish, minimum)
  • LSE Summer Courses in Spain (2 years of Spanish, minimum)
  • Xalapa in Veracruz, Mexico (2 years of Spanish, minimum)

International Studies Internships

Work experience always enhances your marketability after graduation, and international work experience is essential if you’re interested in a foreign-language-related field. As part of the major or minor program, you’re encouraged to seek internship experience in the United States or abroad.

You can take advantage of a variety of study abroad opportunities to enhance your learning and explore your interests. In the past, students have studied or interned in Costa Rica, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Argentina, and Gabon, among other countries.
